Welcome to Ms Benton's Wiki for Senior English

We begin our study of Hamlet this month.  We will view the whole play in class and assign selected passages for you to closely read and study.  If you are absent on the day we view an act, you must choose one of the following options to make up what you missed.

Option 1:     Come in after school the VERY next day you return to school to view what you missed.  For example:  You were absent on Thursday the day we viewed Act 1.  You come in FRIDAY to view Act 1 after school.  THIS IS ONLY CHANCE TO VIEW THE ACT YOU MISSED! 

Option 2:     Find the version we are watching (Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet) and view at home on your own.

Option 3:     Read what you missed instead of viewing it. 

The best option is to make sure you are here ALL the time.  You will have a study guide and a reading and writing assignment to complete for each act.
